The Regional Library Initiative is an effort to improve library service delivery within Region 2000 by examining, identifying, and implementing collaborative service improvements amongst the various library systems. The initiative works to improve library service delivery to the library user community while being as cost effective as possible. The Local Government Council has organized and facilitated a regional library working group focused on developing this initiative. Currently, Bedford and Campbell Counties and the City of Lynchburg are participating jurisdictions.
